hi!

Milli Malkan is a multidisciplinary designer based in Brooklyn, with a background in architecture, helping her bridge the digital and physical realms of design. With experience spanning UX, product design, graphic design, branding, and architecture, Milli has collaborated with a diverse range of clients—from e-commerce startups to grassroots nonprofits focused on food justice and community care.

This experience has shaped her approach to design, blending 2D and 3D design principles and guiding them in leading end-to-end design processes. Milli integrates research, prototyping, and technical tools to create impactful solutions that reflect both user needs and social values.

Through her recent work with nonprofits like Project Alpaca and community oriented work through start up Rec, as well as ongoing involvement in food justice initiatives, Milli’s design philosophy is rooted in community engagement, compassion, and playfulness. She believes that good design should be inclusive, accessible, and reflective of the diverse communities it serves.
